Planning and Installation

Filex Systems take time to carefully understand customers' needs and wants through the entire planning and installation process.

• project planning with associated method statement and risk assessments where appropriate
• installation by experienced factory trained engineers
• final commissioning and training of personnel

Filex Systems supply a wide range of filing solutions that work together with our storage products.  It is essential to choose the right filing supplies to ensure optimal efficiency and space-saving.  The files are designed so documents can be stored in landscape format thereby allowing more levels of filing within the same unit.  As an example, a filing unit storing 5 levels of standard lever arch files could have its capacity increased by over 50% by simply switching to a landscape lever arch file.

• Tabbed folders which can be colour coded / alpha numeric sequences to assist in the rapid access and return of files.

Office Moves and Document Transfer

Are you looking to relocate or archive some of your files or indeed move your entire offices?  This time consuming and potentially business disrupting task can be left to Filex Systems.  Our file transfer service involves labelling of all files before being crated and transported to the new site.  We will then load your files into the new filing solution ready for you to start using again.

Filex Systems also offers a full move and/or relocation service for both office and industrial storage machines, whether purchased from by us or from an alternative supplier. This includes:


• Rotary Units
• Mobile Shelving
• Office Carousels
• Static shelving and filing cabinets
• Industrial Carousels
• Shuttles


Moves can be within existing buildings e.g. from one floor to another or to a new building.


The service involves decommissioning at current location, transportation of units, re-installation and commissioning at the new site. Risk assessments and method statements are produced where needed to ensure compliance with your Health and Safety requirements.
