Site Surveys and Planning

Environmental Standards 

Most MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) is traditionally manufactured using virgin wood from managed wood sources and therefore imparts a strong environmental responsibility.

All the main contract desking and storage are manufactured using the next generation of MFC by sourcing raw materials from what we call the "Urban Forest". This means that the wood used is made up of up to 96% recycled material. The finished board meets all the same British Standards as traditional MFC but represents a manufacturing carbon footprint that is 50% better than the industry average. In real terms this means 400,000 less trees are felled each year.
